Our team is delighted to present the Center For Inter-legality Research Working Papers series.

The CIR Working Paper series is an end result of the research undertaken in the framework of the project. It includes contributions by both members of the project and other scholars participating in the Center’s events and activities. Check the most recent Working Paper by Gabriel Encinas (Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies) here.

Gabriel's contribution aims at drawing an analytical and conceptual standpoint regarding the interaction of legal orders within a paradigm of legal argumentation theory. In his paper, he differentiates between four theories: strong pluralism, moderate pluralism, moderate constitutionalism and strong constitutionalism. His main argument is that the considerations from principles theory adopted therein points towards a moderate constitutionalist thesis.
