Food safety and inter-legality

In this recent blog post, Edoardo Chiti (University of Tuscia) discusses the interaction between the regulatory regimes of the EU and the USA in the field of food regulation.

In his opinion, the coexistence and interactions between the two regimes can be understood as the situation of inter-legality. Although each legal system expresses its own 'legality', it also recognizes the legality of the other.
